YOU Spectacular Awards

As we all might know or may have heard that the YOU spectacular awards took place on Saturday 16 july at Emporers Palace.  Yours truly(MsBerry of course) had the opportunity to attend these spectacular awards.It was a formal event and the stars looked dropped dead gorgeous in their fine apparel.

My best three though, were Connie Ferguson, Bridget Masinga and Pam Andrews. They looked ravishing. It was quite well organised,everyone got there on time and the MCs, Gareth Cliff and Bonang kept the programme nice and short…

 There were live performances by Jamali, Prime Circle and Greame Watkins Project (Graeme is Dylan from Rythm City,boy is he hot)!  We were spoiled with a fashion show during these amazing performances,beautiful garments from Gert Johan Coetzee (the boy is a natural) David Tlale and Malcolm Kluk to name but a few.

Top Billings Jeannie D made a clean sweep!  She scooped three awards that night,namely Best Presenter,Favourite Female Celebrity and Sexiest Female.. She thanked her gorgeous fiancé, Jean for reminding her everyday how sexy she is. Sweet!

 

 

 

 

 

Gareth warned us to look out for Nonhle Thema and Dineo Ranaka and if we spot them, to run fast as chairs may fly. If only they were there, the awards lacked a bit of drama..Dj DinoBravo,yo mama’s favourite Dj held it down at the after party,as well as 5fm’s Dj Koula rocked the night away with great HipHop and dance hall.

Free food and free booze make celebrities very happy people… That’s all I’m gonna say about the YOU spectacular after party.  I was impressed with the whole function,it was well worth my while.  Until next year YOU spectacular :-)MsBerry

Zuma’s daughters on new sitcom

Well seems like JZ (Zuma) or rather his two daughters have caused a stir with their new sitcom ‘It’s for Life’ which airs on Mzansi Magic casting Gugulethu Zuma (remember her as Lesedi from Isidingo) and Nokuthula Zuma.

Well to be honestly I only heard about this when Mr President himself tweeted:  “I encourage you all to tune into channel 107 Tonight (fri) on dstv at 7pm for a new sitcom ‘it’s for life’ it promises to be great #itsforlife (sic)”. 

Now you can imagine how people lost their minds over these tweet, saying how JZ should have more pressing matters to tweet about then promoting his daughters new sitcom (yawns).  I guess next time JZ should use his personal twitter account rather than the ‘Presidential’ one that he used.  Anyhoo, lets see how the sitcome pans out shall we…

Another divorce for JLO!

Eish I can’t help but feel sorry for Ms Jenni from the block shame.  I mean three marriages down the drain and sista girl friend is still youngish bathong!  Jennifer Lopez and hubby Marc Anthony recently announced the ending of their marriage in a statement made to the press: 

“We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters.”
